and managed divisional turnarounds, restructurings and
industry roll-ups.

Prior to forming BVI, he established Smart Investment Banking, LLC and Brill Ventures, Inc., where he
directed M&A, valuation and financing engagements on behalf of more than 80 companies. Mr. Brill has
invested in and/or owned 27 private companies.
He served as President of GS Electric, a division of General Signal Corporation, as President of SL Waber,
a division of SL Industries. His experience includes executive positions at CITGO, CONOCO, and FMC.
Mr. Brill earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pennsylvania
(The Wharton School), and a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University
of Rochester. Mr. Brill served as a Lieutenant, U.S. Navy, active and reserves. Contact Me
