EDWARD K. YOST, Vice President, Sales
and Marketing, has more than 30 years of sales
experience in the manufacturing, engineering and
power generation industries.
From 1992 to 2006, prior to joining
BVI Precision Materials, Mr. Yost served as Supervisor
of Application Engineering for Alstom Power, Inc. (now
Ecolaire/Yuba), one of the world’s largest power
generation equipment suppliers, also the former condenser
division of Ingersoll-Rand Co.
and Marketing, has more than 30 years of sales
experience in the manufacturing, engineering and
power generation industries.
From 1992 to 2006, prior to joining
BVI Precision Materials, Mr. Yost served as Supervisor
of Application Engineering for Alstom Power, Inc. (now
Ecolaire/Yuba), one of the world’s largest power
generation equipment suppliers, also the former condenser
division of Ingersoll-Rand Co.

In this role, Mr. Yost successfully captured 40% of all domestic business for Alstom
and developed many substantial client relationships for the company. The engineering/designer
group he led managed more than $700MM in customer requests, $200MM of which he
personally developed and executed. In one such relationship, he was instrumental in positioning
Alstom as the preferred condenser supplier to a major architectural engineering and construction
company, gaining four years exclusivity, generating more than $50 million dollars in bookings for Alstom.
Mr. Yost also served in sales and applications engineering positions at other power plant
manufacturing organizations including Sales Engineer with a manufacturer’s representative; and as
a Sales Engineer with an HVAC/mechanical contractor. He has extensive power plant sales experience
that includes selling fly ash/bottom ash handling equipment, pneumatic conveying systems, boilers, and
auxiliary heat exchanger equipment.
Mr. Yost earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College. He also served in the
